Let Animals Lead® Method Animal Reiki

These courses are ideal for animal lovers and do not require any previous Reiki experience!
This method of animal Reiki can be used with companion animals, with rescues and in shelters. The teachings are based on traditional Japanese Reiki techniques.
Students will learn how to share Animal Reiki ethically and for the best success with animals.
Emphasis placed on the philosophy of being Reiki “with” animals rather than doing Reiki “to” them and giving them the autonomy to choose.
Using all course requirements and textbooks from Kathleen Prasad, the creator of the Let Animals Lead® Method

 Level 1 (Shoden)

Open to anyone. No previous Reiki experience is required.
Topics include: How and why the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki is different from traditional human Reiki and other Animal Reiki methods, how and why it evolved, Traditional Shoden (Level 1) Japanese Reiki practices and how to modify them so that animals are given the choice:

• Whether they want to step into the healing space and lead the meditation sessions
• When and how to ethically use physical contact during a session, as well as hands-on protocol for humans
• Developing trusting connections between you and animals
• The 3 energy centers and how to develop them to ensure gentle, animal-led meditations
• An in depth look at the Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics as a crucial foundation to your practice, The difference between holding space for an animal and “doing” an energy treatment “to” an animal, and why this distinction matters.
• Receive an attunement/ Reiju

 Level 2 (Okuden)

Open to anyone with Level 1 LAL method who would like to deepen their practice.
Topics include:

• The Hatsurei Ho with Animals, Meditations for working with the Reiki Precepts with animals
• Best ethics for approaching animals with Reiki sessions
• The Japanese teachings on the first 3 Reiki symbols and mantras
• Techniques to work with animals using the symbols and mantras
• How to chant the mantras for self-healing and for healing animals
• Techniques for grounding, expansion and connection to help you become an animal magnet to even the most sensitive animals!
• Receive an attunement/ Reiju.

 Master/Teacher (Shinpiden)

Open to anyone with Level 1 & 2 LAL looking to expand and deepen into their practice and may be interested in teaching this method. Please note this lineage does not use the term “Master” for Level 3.
Topics include:

• Discussion and practice in the traditional Japanese techniques for Level III Animal Reiki, including the 4th symbol and mantra, and how to share them with animals using the Let Animals Lead® method
• How to share Animal Reiki ethically and for the best success with animals
• Totem animals for healing and transformation
• Philosophy of energy and light in the
  system of Animal Reiki and how to hold this space with animals
• Instruction on creating successful lesson plans for your students.
• Instruction and Practice in how to perform Reiju.
• Permission to teach in-person Level 1, 2 and 3 Let Animals Lead® method courses
• Receive the Reiki Master Initiation/Reiju.
